H-PEP Educator Cohort 2 closed off their 10 week course this past Saturday, November 19. Cohort 2 featured a wide range of instructors and subject matters that revolved around H-PEPʻs core founding principles of positivity and self care. There were massage sessions, journaling, online educational lectures and juggling! Most of all there was a bond that was forged between participants who became more than just a network of early education professionals but a community of support that went beyond this moment in time.

With most of the cohortʻs content and interaction based online, the community initially faced the challenge of creating connectivity in a technologically based world. “It was a challenge that our educators immediately met with open arms. Learning new things and reaching outside of our comfort zones helped to push us through those initial challenges.”says Naomi Rombaoa Tanaka, H-PEPʻs Project Coordinator. Adding,”we are so fortunate to have such a caring community of educators.”
