Iʻini - the Spark Within: Hawaiiʻs Role in World-wide Awakening
What does Hawaii really mean to us? Why and how are we different to other countries, continents and nations? Come to explore what involution means to our collective transformation and how to encourage it within a physical, mental and spiritual process shaped by three Hawaiian principles:
- Hoʻopono – Speaking truth
- Aloha mai, aloha aku – Love comes from loving; simultaneity
- Auamo Kuleana – Trust in difference and in the skill-set you have that draws forth your excellence
Manu is Moanaʻs twin! She is dedicated to the brilliance of what Hawaii has to offer the world and believes that aloha will save the planet. She is the Konohiki of Kūlana o Kapolei – a Hawaiian Place of Learning @ UH West Oahu in Kapolei. She has spent her life outdoors and knows that when we heal the land or water, we heal ourselves. Manuʻs work is in indigenous epistemology, or the philosophy of knowledge, and its role in world-wide awakening. She is now dedicated to planting food and bringing nourishing ideas into institutions, events, and dinner conversations. She is published on many different topics and loves how ideas ignite transformation.
